Summer Event 2011.    We held a gymkhana with other games followed by a picnic on the mornings of Tuesday, 5th July and Friday, 8th July.

South Region Show 15th May, 2011.   Two of our riders, Emma and Janvee, together with their ponies India and Foaley from The Grove Riding School, took part in the South Region Show competing in the Countryside Challenge Course and the Dressage Test.   They both won rosettes and Janvee won a cup.   Our Instructors and Helpers, Emma and Janvee and their families all thoroughly enjoyed this event.

RDA 40th Anniversary.   We held a celebration party for all our riders and helpers at Parmoor on Tuesday, 22nd June 2010. We were entertained by Juggling John and enjoyed lots of games, other activities and lunch.

Our Summer Outing is a fun day out for all members of the Group and for three consecutive years rides on wagons drawn by Suffolk Punches followed by a picnic, at Darkwood Farm, Park Corner, near Nettlebed, have been greatly enjoyed.

For the Summer Outing in 2008 and 2009 our riders and helpers/carers  visited Odds Farm Park, Wooburn Common to enjoy the animals and activities and have a picnic. 

Christmas is celebrated at the end of the last sessions in December.

The Annual Refresher Training Day for Helpers is followed by a Pub Lunch.   This is a training session arranged, with demonstrations, by our Instructors, and takes place at The Grove. It is also a good and useful social occasion to exchange ideas and meet with Helpers from other riding sessions.
 
The Annual General Meeting has been held in October at Northend Village Hall with wine and sandwiches afterwards.  This year, 2011, the AGM was held on Thursday, 20th October at midday.  
 
The annual fund-raising Bridge Afternoon takes place at Benson Parish Hall.  
The date for 2012 is Thursday, 8th November.
